Which to choose? A wristband or a portal?
When and which portal should I choose?
The decision to purchase a portal must be made when ordering the door – this is due to the need to integrate a dedicated adaptor into the door frame. Portals can be ordered as symmetrical (same side width on both sides and any on top), asymmetrical (two different side widths and any on top) and single-sided arbitrary portal (side or top). The portal is fixed to the wall with a special adhesive, providing additional stability to the structure. It is possible to order a portal with a fire safety certificate.
What to look out for?
Portals are exclusively dedicated to Protect and Iron inward opening doors. The minimum wall width to which a door frame with a portal is mounted is 15 cm. An installation facing the frame to the interior wall is required. If the portal and door are ordered in different colours, the Protect frame adapter will be made in the colour of the frame. Available portal depths range from 35 to 350 mm (calculated in 5 mm increments). All colours from the basic palette are available.
