Exterior doors

Where to start and how to make the right decisions? We guide you through the entire process—from concept to placing your order. Work independently in the configurator or get support from advisors at WIKĘD partner showrooms.

6 steps. That’s all that stands between you and your door.

Step by step

An intuitive process. A result tailored to your project. WIKĘD. Doors that fit.

01

Choose a style and design

Start with the design. Ask yourself a few questions:

  • classic style or modern design?
  • With or without glazing?
  • A subtle backdrop for the facade or a bold accent that draws attention?

Our door collections cover everything—from pure minimalism to bold, futuristic designs—tailored to various architectural styles and applications.

02

Choose a color and accessories

The color of the door creates the first impression and defines the character of the entire facade. You can choose to match the facade or deliberately highlight the entrance with a bold color.

At this stage, you decide on the details:

  • color palette
  • door handle or pull
  • type of glazing
  • the portal, trim, and transom windows

This is the moment when the design takes on its own unique character.

03

Select technology

Comfort starts with the specifications that truly impact safety and convenience. When choosing a door, you determine:

  • the level of thermal insulation
  • sound insulation
  • burglary resistance class

The production line used determines the construction of the door leaf and the matching door frame, whose design is responsible for the achieved values in terms of thermal performance, acoustics, and security.

Ud: indicates how much energy passes through the door. A lower value means better protection against heat loss and a more comfortable entry area.

Rw: indicates how effectively the door reduces outside noise. This is crucial in densely built-up areas or near heavy traffic.

RC: determines the level of resistance to forced entry. The scope of protection depends on the construction of the door leaf and frame, the hardware used, the lock cylinder, and the type of glazing.

05

Configuration and order details

You’re at the stage where you’ve already selected a design, product line, and the final look of the door.

Now you can proceed to the configurator—you’ll see a product preview, compare available options, and save your design so you can return to it at any time.

With your concept ready, visit the nearest sales location and begin the process. Together with an advisor, you’ll verify the dimensions, technical specifications, and installation conditions. If needed, you can request a professional on-site measurement.

Once everything has been confirmed, all that’s left is to place your order—and then wait for the doors to be manufactured and installed.

06

After-sales service

Do you have any comments regarding the installation or operation of the door? Have you noticed a defect? Report the issue at the point of sale where the order was placed.

An advisor will assess the situation and—depending on the nature of the problem—resolve it on the spot or forward the report to the distributor, and if necessary, directly to the manufacturer.

How to submit an effective report?

  • Provide the order number or purchase details from the point of sale
  • Briefly describe what is happening and under what circumstances (e.g., when closing, after rain, during temperature changes)
  • attach photos or a short video
  • Provide the installation address and full contact information

Complete information will speed up the verification and processing of your report.
